Below you can see the first tomatoes of the season as well as the first head of broccoli to make an appearance. Also, some onions I pulled yesterday hanging up to harden for storage.
What else is growing? Pretty much everything has taken off at this point: beans, black-eyed peas, corn, cucumbers, carrots, potatoes, peppers, herbs (dill, lavender, rosemary, basil, sage), and artichokes. Oh, and GRAPES (see picture)!
Here's a picture of the herb garden (left) and a big picture of the raised bed section of the garden (right):
Exciting times for Farmer Jim! I'll post pictures of the rose bushes and flower gardens later...

That's amazing Jim. I think the majority of the green in our garden is grass and weeds... and we're too scared to pull it. Come help! We have tomatoes coming out the wazoo but that's because we bought a plant in December. Next year, we're buying plants, not seeds.
Don't give up on seeds yet, Chelsea! Everything in the garden that isn't an herb or a grape was planted from seed. Granted, my wife had to deal with me growing seedlings in the sun room for the first three months of the year but I hope that it is worth it.
Can't wait to see your garden this weekend; maybe I can help!
